How We Serve People

Kindred Longevity Medicine

Because we believe (and the research upholds this) that when we treat our bodies kindly, we LET them heal. This is not a forced march to wellness or another diet plan that ultimately starves the body, putting it into emergency survival mode. Stress does not help us, it kills us. That is why quick fixes and hardcore training are not sustainable. They harm us unless we first help our bodies exit stress-mode and enter healing mode.

We begin by listening for opportunities to develop new habits in eight key areas.

  • Food

  • Exercise

  • Sleep/Rest

  • Hydration

  • Stress Management

  • Avoidance of Risky Substances

  • Sprituality

  • Community

Addressing Health Through Longevity Medicine.

The picture of a full and healthy life cannot be painted in just one part of our being. It’s the cohesive and unified interaction of the eight key areas that support the whole person. It’s the entire lifestyle: a combination of significant parts that come together to heal the bodies we are living in. But when even small changes in every aspect come together to create healing…

You can be younger today than you were yesterday.

The Goal:

To Be Healthy at Any Age

Motivation comes with a shift in mindset. We encourage people to abandon the quick fixes and begin a lifelong journey of wellness. Achieving health and longevity is a journey and a way of living.

The goal isn’t to “drop 20 pounds.” The goal is to be healthy every day for the rest of your life, and 20 pounds off your belly may be a step along the way. And it’s day by day. You can do anything for a day, and then another, and then another. There will be results along the way, but keep aimed for a life-level result. The guiding questions become, “How is your overall life being managed and changed? You may have a six-pack, but are you sleeping well, do you feel you have purpose in your life?” The journey is the shift from trying to force your body into some mold to allowing it to heal and evolve into the person you were created to be.

We Serve

The healthy who want to be healthy for their lifetimes.

Do you work hard to be healthy? Have you discovered a natural rhythm to it? Are you grateful for it? Or, do you keep critiquing and tweaking it? Are you as healthy as you think you are? Do you have others around you or in your family tree who are not healthy? Do you walk a journey that they would want to follow? You can understand the benefits of a life in which you feel energetic and vivacious. But, modern health techniques take a lot of work and can be expensive. There are always new and conflicting messages being published. Healthy people are looking for simplification and a focus on addressing more core, fundamental issues.

People with chronic diseases in their family history.

Most people believe they are limited by their genetics. They feel there is no escape from the diseases that run in their families. They don’t think about living longer as an isolated concept, but about living longer than someone else: a grandparent, an uncle, or perhaps a parent. We have found that a lifestyle that embraces all-encompassing health can actually change the expression of your genetic inheritance. People who are being intentional about their health are outliving their ancestors and doing it with more vitality and far fewer chronic diseases. Everybody is fully made. Every Body is Worthy!

The chronically pained or sick.

There is hope. Your body wants to be well. So, let’s give it help! It will take time, but it is worth waiting for. Quick fixes damage your body. Every pill or supplement leads to another, which is not endlessly sustainable. The Blue Zones—areas where people naturally live much longer than the global average—represent proof that our bodies’ natural inclination is to live better for far longer. Across the world, people are living with health and vitality in their 80’s, 90’s and even beyond, because they allow their bodies to take care of themselves by following healthy lifestyle principles. People in the Blue Zones generally don’t get sick, suffer mental illness, or die prematurely. We know it’s possible, and we know what factors contribute to success.
